Hello all, I want you all to know what a blessing it was to have had the opportunity to spend 5 weeks working for HIB in the middle of Cool Springs Mall. We serve such an awesome God that is so faithful and so LIVING! Everyday the Lord showed up in such unique ways through conversations. I am so thankful. Each day as my shift would begin I would pray over the booth by first thanking the Lord for being there and then giving Him the booth for His Holy Spirit to come and have His way. I would specifically pray for HIB to be a lighthouse that shines for Jesus in the mall, a place that the Holy Spirit is welcomed to come and move, that God's love would be tangible and infectious, and that even if someone didn't stop at the stand that they would feel something so different take place in their hearts that they would desire more. God is so good! He showed up.

I will never forget this dear woman the Lord sent to the booth with her child. She came over because she saw the Heaven Is Better from afar, and was so excited to see us. After a few minutes of conversation she shared why it was imperative for her to find a shirt for herself as well as her precious little boy. They were off the next day to a conference in Florida and wanted to wear shirts with an eternity focused message. Her little guy is 1 of only 2000 in the world diagnosed with Hunter's Disease. This is a condition that will only worsen the patients quality of life and drastically reduce the life expectancy. I will never forget looking into the eyes of the woman. I saw Jesus! I saw such peace, such hope and such strength. Here is a woman who knows her little boy will live only a few more years here on earth and yet she has so much peace. She knows Who her son gets to go spend eternity with, she knows her home nor her son's is not here on earth, but it Heaven! I pray that the Lord is continued to be glorified through the time God keeps him here before taking him home. I pray such a blessing over that family and that the Lord continues to give them His peace beyond all understanding, as well as opportunities to share where their strength comes from.
